SITONG PACKAGING GROUP

Agricultural PP Woven Bags

Agricultural PP woven bags are one of the most widely used packaging solutions on the modern farm. Made from woven polypropylene (PP), they combine high tensile strength, light weight, breathability, and low cost—exactly what is needed to store and move grain, seed, and fresh produce from field to storage to market. At Sitong Packaging Group we have manufactured agricultural PP woven bags for nearly three decades, supplying growers, cooperatives, and distributors across Africa, South America, and Central America, with BRC-certified, food-safe options available for hygienic crops.

Grain Bags

Rice, wheat, corn (maize), soybean, barley, and beans are heavy, abrasive, and often stored for months at cooperatives and ports. Our grain bags use high-tensile woven fabric (GSM 42–130, mesh 8×8 to 12×12) that resists tearing during handling and stacking, while optional coating or inner liner reduces exposure to moisture, dust, and insects.
Standard filling weights are 25 kg and 50 kg, with custom sizes from 5 kg to 200 kg available on request. For long sea freight to humid markets, we recommend laminated or liner-equipped grain bags to protect against condensation and spoilage.

Seed Bags

Seed demands more protection than bulk grain—moisture, contamination, or physical damage can destroy a whole planting season's value. We supply seed bags with optional inner liner, tight woven construction, and clear custom printing for variety name, lot number, and brand, so each bag doubles as a trusted retail or co-op unit. Breathable, non-laminated fabric is available where condensation control matters during warehouse storage.

Potato, Onion & Vegetable Bags

Potatoes, onions, and carrots need ventilation, not a sealed sack. Our breathable agricultural PP woven bags reduce condensation inside the bag, helping keep fresh produce firm during storage and transport. Mesh size and vents can be specified for the crop, and UV-stabilized material is available for bags that sit in open yards, extending service life under sunlight.

Laminated vs Breathable: How to Choose

Choose breathable, non-laminated fabric for root vegetables and crops that need airflow (potatoes, onions). Choose laminated or liner-equipped bags for grain and seed that must stay dry or meet food-hygiene requirements. Tell us your crop, storage method, and target weight—our team recommends the right construction and confirms it with a sample before production.

Customization, Printing & Sizes

We manufacture agricultural PP woven bags in a wide range of widths (26–145 cm), capacities (5–200 kg), and weave specs (mesh 8×8 to 12×12, denier 400D–1800D). Tops can be heat cut, cold cut, zig-zag, or folded and stitched; sides can include a gusset (M side) for extra volume; bottoms are single or double folded and stitched for strength. Printing is by offset or gravure, up to multi-color, for logos, variety names, lot numbers, and barcodes.

Quality Control & Food Safety

Every batch is inspected from raw material to finished bag: raw PP is checked, weaving is verified for even tension, printing is checked, and seams are tested for strength. Food-grade and BRC-certified options use virgin polypropylene and clean production for crops that contact food.
