SITONG PACKAGING GROUP
FIBC / JUMBO BAGS

FIBC Bags Manufacturer

Engineered for the Heavy Lift — custom bulk bags from 500kg to 2000kg.

SITONG designs and builds Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) — jumbo bags, big bags and ton bags — for safe, efficient handling of dry flowable materials. Every bag is built around its safe working load: from lifting loops and seam construction to liners and anti-static treatment, we engineer the whole container, not just the fabric.

About SITONG

A bulk-container specialist, not a general bag maker

Since 1998 we have focused on one thing most woven-bag plants don't: the safe containment and lifting of one-tonne loads. That means our engineering thinking starts with the safe working load (SWL), the lifting-loop geometry and the seam path — then works backwards to the fabric, tape and resin.

Our vertically integrated plant runs resin extrusion, circular weaving, webbing and loop production, sewing, cleaning and inspection under one roof. That control lets us guarantee consistent SWL performance, clean food-grade interiors and reliable delivery for distributors, blenders, chemical producers and miners on six continents.

Manufacturing Process

A bulk-container specialist, not a general bag maker

A jumbo bag rarely fails in the cloth — it fails at a loop or a seam. So making an FIBC is really building a safe load path: resin becomes tape, tape becomes fabric, and fabric becomes a container engineered around its rated load.

Virgin PP Resin

100% virgin polypropylene pellets for food-grade and high-strength bags, with recycled-content options for non-food industrial use — the foundation every later stage builds on.

Tape Extrusion

Resin is melted and drawn into flat tapes at a controlled denier, giving the woven fabric the tensile backbone a heavy lift demands.

Circular Weaving

Circular looms weave seamless tubular fabric — the preferred body for FIBCs because it removes side seams and concentrates strength in the cloth.

Webbing & Loop Making

The most safety-critical part: lifting loops and body belts are woven and cut to spec, built to carry the bag's rated load — the feature that makes an FIBC a bulk container rather than a sack.

Sewing & Assembly

Skilled operators join body, spouts, base and loops on programmed sewing lines, with seam pattern and stitch density set to the bag's load class.

Finishing & Dispatch

The sewn bag is folded, palletised and made dispatch-ready — the build closed, ready to carry your product from our floor to your port.

Inside the Plant

Every load-bearing step happens on our floor

We don't outsource the parts that decide whether a bag lifts safely. Here is where each stage is made and checked.

Raw Material Workshop
The quality of every FIBC bag starts with carefully selected polypropylene raw materials. In our raw material workshop, each batch is inspected and prepared before production to ensure consistent performance throughout the manufacturing process. Well-organized storage and strict material management help maintain stable production and reliable product quality. This attention to raw materials enables us to manufacture durable FIBC bulk bags with excellent strength, load-bearing performance, and long service life for industrial, agricultural, construction, and chemical packaging applications.
Wire drawing workshop
High-quality FIBC bags start with strong PP tapes. In our wire drawing workshop, polypropylene resin is melted and extruded into uniform tapes that provide the strength needed for woven fabric production. Advanced equipment and strict quality control help ensure consistent tape quality, supporting the manufacture of durable FIBC bags with reliable lifting performance and long service life.
Circular weaving workshop
Our circular weaving workshop is equipped with advanced circular looms to produce high-quality woven fabric for FIBC bags. Precision weaving technology ensures consistent fabric strength, dimensional stability, and reliable performance throughout the manufacturing process. Strict quality control at this stage helps ensure every FIBC bulk bag meets the demands of heavy-duty storage, handling, and transportation.
Webbing Workshop
We manufacture strong and reliable lifting webbings designed for safe handling of heavy bulk materials.
Sewing workshop
Our sewing workshop ensures every FIBC bag is stitched with strength, accuracy, and consistency.
Finished Goods Warehouse
Finished FIBC bags are carefully folded, packed, and loaded into containers using standardized procedures. Efficient packing maximizes container capacity and ensures safe transportation to customers worldwide.
Quality & Safety

Tested for the load, not just the look

Where a small sack is judged on print and seal, a bulk bag is judged on whether it lifts, holds and discharges without failure. Our checks are built around that reality.

Top-Lift & Loop Test

Loops and bodies are lifted to the rated safety factor (5:1 single-trip, 6:1 reusable) so the bag proves its SWL before shipment.

Seam & Stitch Inspection

Every seam is checked for stitch density, even tension and secure termination — the points where a heavy bag is most likely to fail.

Anti-Static Verification

For Type C and Type D bags we verify conductivity / static-dissipative performance so flammable-dust and solvent environments stay safe.

Fabric Tensile Test

Woven fabric is sampled for tensile and tear strength to confirm the body cloth matches the design load path.

Clean-Room Hygiene

Food-grade runs pass through dedusting and cleaning so interiors meet the hygiene expectations of sugar, flour and starch buyers.

Certified Systems

BRC, ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSMS (safety) underpin every line. Incoming material is qualified and every batch is recorded for full traceability.

U-Panel FIBC Bag

One U-shaped side panel plus two narrow side panels creates an economical FIBC bulk bag for general dry bulk goods, with safe working loads up to 1,500 kg.

Type A & B
Standard FIBC Bag

Type A: no static protection, for general non-flammable goods. Type B (<6 kV) blocks brush discharge in flammable dusts without solvent vapors.

Circular / Tubular FIBC Bag

A seamless woven body reduces seam stress points, delivering maximum strength for heavy-duty lifting and demanding bulk applications.

Type C & D
Anti-Static FIBC Bags

Grounded Type C and static-dissipative Type D FIBC bulk bags protect against electrostatic discharges in flammable dust and solvent-exposed powder handling.

4-Panel FIBC Bag
(with Baffle / Q-Bag Option)

Four-panel rectangular bags stack and palletize neatly. Add internal baffles to keep a square filled shape and save warehouse space.

Food-Grade & UN Bag

Clean-room produced for food ingredients, or UN-certifiable for regulated dangerous goods.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is an FIBC?

A Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container — also called a jumbo bag, big bag or ton bag — is a large woven polypropylene container with lifting loops, used to store and transport 500 kg to 2 000 kg of dry flowable material.

SWL (safe working load) is the maximum load the bag is designed to hold. We build to a 5:1 safety factor for single-trip bags and 6:1 for reusable bags, meaning the bag is tested to five or six times its SWL.

For flammable dusts or solvent-exposed powders, choose a conductive Type C bag (with grounding) or a static-dissipative Type D bag. Type A is for non-flammable, non-sensitive environments only.
